Information for Tenants
What does the rent include?
The weekly rent is shown by each property on our listing.
Sometimes the rent will include some or all utilities but usually
gas, electricity, telephone, water services and council tax are
invoiced to you by the relevant utility company.
How much money
do you need from me before I move in?
One calendar months rent
and a deposit as well as the cost of drawing up a contract and referencing.
What is the maximum and minimum tenancy?
The usual tenancy is for one year, sometimes with a break clause.
From time to time we also have properties available for shorter
periods.
What about references?
All tenancies are subject to satisfactory references being
received or an agreed amount of rent being paid in advance.
If you have any concerns about the referencing process, we are happy
to discuss this with you. Please note all tenancies are subject
to contract ( the Tenancy Agreement being signed) and satisfactory
references.
How safe is my
deposit?
Your deposit is held in a dedicated client account, and we hold
it as stakeholder to protect both the Landlord's and Tenant's interests.
What is different
about Watsons?
Watsons try to make finding a property and the necessary administration
as easy as possible! We like to think that the number of recommendations
from previous and existing tenants (and Landlords) speak for themselves.
